Brain-inspired Intelligence (BI) is the science and technology of intelligence inspired by brain science. BI research is grounded in deep exploration of the "first principles" of biological intelligence — drawing on the principles and working mechanisms of the human brain's perceptual-cognitive neural networks to propose and engineer intelligence frameworks, algorithms, models, and computing systems that simulate and realize the core capabilities of the human brain.
The scientific and technological goal of BI is to construct structures and functions analogous to biological brains on both silicon and carbon substrates, with applications spanning intelligent chips, computing systems, robotics, brain-computer interfaces, and brain medicine.

Over the long course of time, creatures in the transition from ape to human learned to make tools through the long-term use of natural tools. Tool making means conscious activity through thinking, and this conscious initiative is the most important distinction between humans and animals, a leap in the transformation process from ape to human, marking the end of the transition period from ape to human, and the development of humans entered the stage of fully formed humans.
The Neogene is the second period of the Cenozoic Era. It began 23 million years ago and lasted for 21.4 million years. It includes the Miocene and Pliocene epochs, and is one of the few periods in geological history that experienced large-scale glacial activity. It was also an era of highly developed mammals and angiosperms, with the emergence of humans being the most prominent event of this era. Since the Neogene, most of the biological world has been more similar to modern times.

Human intelligence is the wisdom and ability of humans to understand and transform the world.
